Day 5: AGAINST THE ODDS Activity 2: Swimming to Safety
Yusra Mardini was scared of the water she also like it and love it .When she took her first step in the water she already good at it . Her dad and her older sister and coach her to where she is now. Yusra has save 20 people from the boat's engine failed the swimming for a long time and them she was saw by Olympic Committee she was competing and was the first refugee team to go in Olympics. Today this activity we did is a girl name Yusra Mardini She loved swimming this was a great thing to talk about .
Hello Ellenora! Yursa Mardini's story is such an inspiration. If there is one thing I've learnt is that she is very brave for doing that. You can tell she is very passionate about her swimming career, and used it for good use. Is there anything you are as passionate about? Keep it up!

ReplyDeleteI liked how you said that although Yusra Mardini was afraid, she still jumped out of the boat and helped save the other passengers. I also liked how you added in the extra information of her joining the first Olympic Refugee team. Do you think you could do what she did?
