Good Things
- Skinks help gardens by eating all the insects
- Big Skinks hunt down Rodents. Rodents are bad for some countries.
- A lot of people like Skinks, so people can have them as pets.
Bad Things
- Cats and dogs don't like Skinks, So they could chase them and eat them.
- Some people hate skinks, they will do anything to kill them.
- Skinks are scary.
I do not want to be a DOC Ranger because I don't like touching reptiles.
Hi Ellenora!
ReplyDeleteI like your blog post about Secretive Skinks. I like how you listed the 3 things that were Good & Bad. You have done an amazing job at these SLJ activities. Well done on catching up on the SLJ.
Blog you later!

Hello Ellenora! Being a DOC Ranger you have to be willing to interact with a bunch of wildlife animals. I wouldn't want to have this job because I'm not always confident to meet new animals that I have no experience with. I like that you included reptiles as the reason you wouldn't be one. What reptile scares you the most? Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteGreetings Ellenora,
ReplyDeleteWell done for completing this task. I am glad to see you getting out there and posting more and more summer learning journey activities. I did this activity too. It was sure interesting to do. Did you enjoy completing this task? Why? Your listed pros and cons are great. I love it. I liked it how you said Skins are scary. Becoming a DOC Ranger to me would be hard working, because I am not use to looking after animals.
NICE:)
Greetings Ellenora!
ReplyDeleteI have decided to comment on your blog again! Your good things and bad things that you wrote was clear. I think it would be a good idea because you will save dangerous animals. You're doing a great job I hope it continues!
Keep it up!
Kia Ora Ellenora,
ReplyDeleteI hope you're enjoying the last day of the SLJ!
I see you have written all the good and bad things about skinks, cool! I like how you have researched that. Skinks are scary - correct!
Do you think you'd like to be a DOC ranger?
Have a great last day see how many more activities you can get done!
- take care

Talofa lava Ellenora,
ReplyDeleteI really like how you have decided to make your list on a blog post. I also like how you explained to us the goods and bads / Pros and Cons. Next time you should say in your blurb what you have learned. And next time you should add a simple picture.
How do you feel if you worked as a DOC ranger?
