Kia ora Ellenora,
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely meeting you! I am so excited that you are joining us for the Summer Learning Journey 2019-2020. Have you done this programme before?
This is my first year joining the Summer Learning Journey, and I am so excited that I get to read over the Manaiakalani blogs.
I’m really looking forward to summer, aren't you? In my spare time I like spending time at the beach and hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy going for walks and I absolutely love cooking and baking. What are you looking forward to doing this summer?
Thanks for sharing your brother's dream of becoming an engineer. What an incredible dream job. Would you like to add some ways you can help your brother to make this dream happen? Would love to hear what you have to say.
Had you thought about adding images to this post? It would be fun to see images of what orthodontists actually do day-to-day!
My dream job is to become a teacher. I'm currently studying to become a teacher at the moment, and when my friends and family support my dreams it makes such a difference for me! :)
What is your dream job? I'd love to know! :)
Noho ora mai

Hi Avalon, this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
ReplyDeleteTalofa Ellenora! Engineering is a big job and it's great that you chose your brother as the person for this activity so you could talk about it. Do you have any ways you could support your brother with his dream job? Great job!
ReplyDeleteHi Ellenora,
ReplyDeleteI liked how you chose to ask your brother about his dream job, what kind of engineer does he want to become? How can you help him achieve his goal?
