This week for reading we learned about questioning and also we learned how to to inference information using QAR strategy,  To identify the main parts of the story and howto predict using picture, titles. First we had to get a book and our group book was Flying with pablo  and then after we done that we had to read the book and then after we read the book we had to write some questions in the book like example who was the character name and also there are four box and the first one in right there and the second box think and search and the third box is author and me and the lastly box is on my own and then the are   finished my work i had to blog it and put it in the LS1 must do.

What is Media

Today for cybersmart  we learnt about what media is  Media is a thing that you use every day Here Here is  a Examples Like computer,Media  Phones ,Posters , advertising news ,TV 

Duffy theatre

On Monday we went to the hall to see a Duffy theatre and  some of it was so more fun but it was end  of the day .

Writing

Spongebob  and patrick got lost

On  Saturday  afternoon Patrick and Spongebob  went under the water to catch fish  then they got lost there was a tree right  there next to patrick 'Hey patrick look over  there are a tree' said spongebob.

Patrick said look behind  there is a map that came help as go home .

Before they find the map they there sad because they fought   they want go home and patrick saw the map first they said .

Hey spongebob look behind  the tree there is map patrick pick the map up spongebob and patrick was trid from  walk they had rest for a few minutes and they were on there way back home .

They went over the hill  and around the tree and then around the krusty krab .

All long they were go the  wrong way and they findler  they find a way back home but first  they were hungry and they stop a krusty krab  and it was night time and the both got home .

Today for Inquiry we had finished my work for inquiry this was the last day of school  and that what we had to do for Inquiry . L.I Is to find the fact about it and try and see if we can remember. 

ASB Getwise Session

ayden from ASB get wise came to our school to teach us about saving money. He came to talk to us about CASH goals. He taught that if you want to buy something make it realistic for you age. For example, if you want to by a car when your yr 4-5 you should keep it realistic so by something you can actually get. We learnt that if you want to by something you have to be clear, if you want to buy some shoes you need to keep it clear, what size, what colour, the price, and more. Keeping it clear is like making sure you get what you really want. To do that you have to take action. Get a job for year 5 and year 6 .You could sell stuff like your old clothes or stuff you don't own like making pies, food and selling more, you could also do neighbourhood jobs like help cleaning the gardens.   When you get the money you need you save for the future to get more money by taking action. When you save you have to know how long it will take until you reach your goal to buy those shoes. So if you get 10 a week and you spend no money and your shoes are 100 dollars it will be 10 weeks until you have reached your goal. That is CASH goals. LI: To learn how to save money

Matariki celebration

For are matariki celebration  we had performances from kapa haka groups , the Drumming  group , Ukulele  and Pacific group .Before the celebration   Whaea Odie   was  talk and   and sing then the  kapa haka group  performer  first  it was good  and it was my favourite out of all of them . Thank to whaea odie  and we eat are sausage .

Maths

Today for maths  we had to silt  are  katie  in 2 of 4 group. 

Matariki New year

L.I It was to learn about matariki and talk about it on this poster in groups. LS1 And Ls2 worked together.It finish are  matariki   poster  and are matariki  side  we did  before  morning.I talked about what I learnt, How I learnt, what its about and other things. This is a research, collaborating and Team work activity. To do this activity we had to look at MRS Anderson's slide to get some information and then make our own information using her information but in our own words. I also researched a little bit to get some: KEY information so I could write more about Matariki. Matariki is a special celebration in Maori. Matariki is part of the Maori New Year. I am Maori Myself so I like to celebrate Matariki by eating dinner but with my whole family.Today LS1 and LS2 worked together collaboratively to find out some information about Matariki. We used our researching skills to find out some information. We watched a video together about matariki and listed down some facts. After watching the video we created a DLO Matariki.T
