WW1 Transport Ship

In the Morning block we did Inquiry and what we were learning about was WW1 transport Ship. We had to get information about the transport that the New Zealand Solderers went on to get to Europe. I was working with Jack, Joseph, Sakina, Miiana and Alice. We all worked as a group to get the information down about the WW1 Transport ship that the New Zealand Soldiers went on to get to Europe. The interesting fact that I learnt about was it took 38 days and 9 hours to get to Europe in the transport ship.

Shark

Sharks are carnivores, that means they only eat meat like sea lions, dolphins or smaller sea creatures like crabs. It is true that sharks have attacked humans but not many people know that only 12 species of sharks have ever done this. A baby shark is called a pup and a group of sharks are known as shivers, shoals or schools. You can find sharks in every ocean but they won’t be staying still because they have to keep the water moving over their gills to stay alive.
