Ki O Rahi

Last week  we did are first ever  First I didn't  now what that was but now I do because I whact  the video this stoey is pasnt on the  paster of a girl and  a boy  .The girl was  lost a girl cayed to find here but it was it far way.Then we went to  out side to play a game  which  was a game that I don't donw the name  but I like the game .But it was hot  after there two game it was hoter then it was lunch time .

Explanation Sketchnote

This week for writing sakina and I created a sketchnote about explanation writing, to show our understandings. First we wrote the information we already knew about explanation writing on a piece of paper. After that we did speed dating to share our ideas. It wasn't exactly speed dating. With our partners there were two lines. We had to share our information about explanation writing to different partners.

Summarising Te Tiriti O Waitangi

For reading we were to summarise the story of Te Tiriti O Waitangi. We worked collaboratively in groups to learn about the Treaty of Waitangi. The Treaty was written in both Maori and English and more than 500 chiefs signed this. The date was 6 February 1840. I think the signing of the treaty is a very important part of New Zealand history.

E-ako Maths

This morning for I used E-ako maths for the first time. I was practicing addition to 10 using a tens frame. I had fun doing this and got most of the answers right.

Role Model VS Hero

This week for inquiry we got into our groups and created a venn diagram. In our venn diagram we wrote about what a Role model and Hero is. We all worked together collaboratively as a team and shared our ideas amongst each other.

What is a Leader

This week for leadership week we all got into our teams and created a DLO.

In our DLO we all have participated and explained What is a leader,
What does a leader do and What is being a good leader?

We then individually wrote our goals/responsibilities for 2019.

As a group we have all learnt to share ideas and communicate
to each other to complete our work as a team.

Team sketch note

This week for inquiry/leadership week we created a sketch note and as a team we all collaborated and wrote down what a team is, what do teams use to become a strong team and What does a strong team does to be a good team.

C.A.R.E Values

This week for leadership week we have been split into groups. Each group was given a piece
 of paper asking questions about what Confidence, Attitude, Respect and excellence and innovation
 looks like and means. We then used a presentation to add onto our answers and also added in our
 photos we took that shows what each care value looks like.
