Today is our Summer Learning Journey. For this activity, we imagined our self if we could change our name and give an explanation.

  1. Hi again Ellenora! Sabrina sounds like a wonderful name, and I like your reason for choosing it as well. I agree it sounds really nice, and would definitely suit you. Do you know the meaning behind the name? Nice job!

  2. Mōrena Ellenora! How are you doing? Olive here and the grey skies. Hopefully they won't last though. I hope you have exciting plans today!

Thank you for your blog post! I think Sabrina is a lovely name! I love reading about this activity! I think finding out people’s alternative names are so interesting! I really enjoyed the details you provided for choosing Sabrina! If I changed my name, I would probably choose something Dutch like “Schuyler” as my Opa (Grandfather) is Dutch and I think it’s a really special way to honour his memory and my heritage. Names can be a lovely way to remember our loved ones, ancestors and where we came from. Ka pai on all your effort!

    Keep up the great blogging!

    Ngā mihi,
    Olive

  3. Hi Ellenora,
I liked how you said that you'd want to change your name to Sabrina because you like it and the sound of it. Would you keep the same last and middle names?
